Our Story

Grown by a family, shared with the community

Coonamessett Farm was established in 1982 by Ron, a former NOAA officer and ship captain, and Roxanna, a veterinarian specializing in aquatic animals. Together they set out to build a farm that produces vegetables and fruit for the community — combined with the recreation of pick-your-own fields and hands-on animal encounters.

What started as twenty acres in Hatchville has become part of everyday life in Falmouth: an agricultural experience, a place to eat and gather, fresh-baked goods, and even alpaca merchandise, all grown and made right here on the farm.

Farm Life

Our Animals

Meet Daisy, our Nigerian Dwarf goat who's had two beautiful black-and-white kids, and Cassia, who's had one tan-and-white kid. Come by the farm and enjoy watching their antics!

Beyond the goats, the farm is also home to alpacas, sheep, donkeys, chickens, and ducks — all part of the hands-on animal encounters that make Coonamessett Farm a favorite family stop.
